Electronics Design Shop
This Electronics Design Shop primarily serves various research projects, which may include both graduate and undergraduate fabricators, as well as staff and faculty. This new facility will expand upon the current capabilities of the Electronics and Laser Systems core facility and will be operated under the Department of Chemistry, to assist researchers in the design and fabrication of electronics systems. Curriculum projects are generally not permitted and should utilize the Mechatronics Lab. However, certain exceptions may be discussed with the shop staff.
Equipment & Services
The Electronics Design Shop will be equipped with multiple lab benches, with the following equipment:
- Oscilloscope (1GHz B/W mixed signal)
- Spectrum Analyzer (9kHz-3Ghz)
- Network Analyzer (100kHz-3Ghz)
- Logic Analyzer (34 channel 250Mbit)
- Benchtop Components: Digital multimeters, power supplies, HV sources, counters and etc.
