Service Facilities
When fabrication and manufacturing on your own is not an option, Northwestern has full-service facilities available for you to request parts to be fabricated. Each facility offers a general type of fabrication, which users may use to request parts to be fabricated.
Service facilities operate on a fee-for-fabrication model, with costs dependent on the method of fabrication used, as well as materials required. Submission of production requests will require information in the form of CAD files or drawings, depending on the facility and method of production to be used.
